The Middle Ages Museum is located at the Mercatori Hall, in the Town Hall of Ascoli Piceno. It is composed of two kits in gold of about 260 Lombard tombs discovered in 1893 at the Necropolis of Castel Trosino, in the territory of Ascoli. On display are also the objects found in the last excavations carried out by the Superintendency of the Marche, in 2001.
