Complesso Monumentale del Broletto
Broletto is a Medieval architectural complex consisting of four historic buildings arose at different times, with different artistic styles and not consistent with each other, willing to quadrilateral around a courtyard (or "Arengo") plant. It is located in the city center, a short walk from Duomo, it is accessed through an archway from Republic Square, and a second arc from Corso Italia. Within architectural complex houses Gallery of Modern Art "Paolo and Adele Giannoni", which gathers more than 800 Italian paintings of the nineteenth and twentieth century, exhibited in 13 different rooms. It was donated to City of Novara in the '30s by Alfredo Giannone and was closed to the public from 1986 until the reopening in March 2011, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Unification of Italy.
