Corso Venezia

Where Corso Venezia, Milano

Corso Venezia joins Piazza San Babila to Porta Venezia (Eastern Gate Course) and represents one of the four "sides" of the "Fashion District" with Via Monte Napoleone, Via della Spiga and Via Manzoni. Since the end of '700, the Milanese nobility began to build its palaces along the Corso Venezia, turning it into a meeting place for luxury. Arriving from Piazza Oberdan, there is the monument of the tolls of Porta Venezia, one of the ancient entrances to the city, with homonyms Gardens (first public park in Milan, home of the Planetarium and the Museum of Natural History). Along the course, it can admire Saporiti Palace, Castiglioni Palace, Fontana Silvestri House and the Archbishop's Seminary.
