Into the waters of Punta Scifo there is an ancient submerged wreck, found randomly at the beginning of '900 and subject of a recovery intervention by Paolo Orsi. The load, dating to the early third century AC, was made up of numerous foundations and other elements of marble probably destined to furnishing of some public building. Comes from the same wreck even a small group of scultures depicting Cupid and Psyche.
