This ancient farmhouse, located in the countryside of Copertino, in the district "Li Tumi", is a splendid example of the architecture of XVI century, by Evangelista Menga. It presents characteristic square plant and angular towers with a spear point. Fortified farm dates back to historical period when Salento was a crossroads of cultures and defended itself from Saracen raids. The structure, unique in its kind, is subject to historical constraint by Superintendency of Cultural Heritage.
