Viale Cavallotti, 3, Como
The Museum was founded in the '20s as a collection of educational scientific materials from the "Sala Casartelli" of Carducci Institute, acquired by Henry Musa in Paris. The exhibits mainly deal with biology (human anatomy with samples in 1:1 scale, teaching boards murals, etc.), but also include a zoological section, with specimens of mammals, birds, reptile skins, skeletal reconstructions of fishes and other vertebrates, true works of art. There are also many iconographic botanical models and wax reproductions of fruit.
