Palazzo della Camera di Commercio
The building dates back to the '30s and is inspired by the town halls of the Italian Middle Ages, particularly the presence of a tower at the center of the main facade. The project by architect Camillo Guerra is an Eclectic building inspired by the Roman Renaissance with regard to the second-floor windows, the Abbey of San Clemente a Casauria to the porch of the ground floor and the Palace of Santissima Annunziata in Sulmona for the windows at the first floor. Characteristic are also decorative elements that refer to the Fascist regime, as the imperial eagle resting on a head of Mercury, god of commerce. The cornice is supported by brackets, under which are placed on polychrome ceramics professions practiced in the region.
