Museo delle Tradizioni Rurali dell'Altopiano Silano
Set up in 2003 by the group "Wanderings in the footsteps of Norman Douglas" to document the work and environment and traditional domestic Silano Plateau. The exhibition is divided into an introductory section that explains the context through paperwork and photo comes from the Historical ARSSA, and four thematic sections: forests, meadows, fields and Casino Lupinacci. The first three sections are the traditional activities carried out on the Plateau (logging, transhumance, cultivation of wheat and potato); the fourth section, instead, through the history and architecture of the seventeenth-century building of the Lupinacci family, first inhabited stable in Lagarò, documenting an insight into the traditional home environments.
