Camposanto is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of Bologna and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northeast of Modena on the Panaro river. As of 31 December 2010, it had a population of 3,218 and an area of 22.7 square kilometres (8.8 sq mi).
