Museo Fra Nicola da Gesturi

Where Viale Sant'Ignazio, Cagliari

The exhibition was prepared in a wing of the convent next to the cloister, which was formerly the burial place of the friars. The rooms, vaulted ceilings, keep personal items and photos depicting the friar at different times of life, as well as the various stages of the process of beatification.
There is a plaque on the burial, in the cemetery of Bonaria, and the remains of the coffin before the transfer of the body in the Church of St. Ignatius. Remarkable images of June 10, 1958, when a huge crowd attended the funeral. On show are worn robes, the mantle, glasses and all the poor personal items. Do not miss any folders with testimonies from people during the process of beatification.
In the museum space there are also several bronze sculptures, always dedicated to the brother of Gesturi, for which is initiated the cause for canonization.
