The Museum houses works dating from the fourteenth and the seventeenth century, from the Monastery and churches under the jurisdiction of the abbot bishop. The visit to the collection is linked to the visit of the Monastery, which includes famous masterpieces such as the series of thirty episodes of "St. Benedict's Life", painted with frescoes in the cloister by Luca Signorelli and Sodoma (late fifteenth-early fifteenth century) and carved choir stalls by Fra' Giovanni da Verona.
