Framed by Lombard Pre-Alps, Rocca di Angera dominates the southern end of Lago Maggiore. Amazing is the path inside solemn historic rooms, embellished with precious frescoes, ancient paintings and original decorations. Inside the Fortress there is Doll and Toy Museum, which traces the history of the game from the 18th century to the present day. Surrounded by crenellated walls, Medieval Garden illustrates the peculiarities of the garden in the Middle Ages from a historical and botanical point of view.
