The Theater was inaugurated on 31 July 1988 with the first edition of the "Festival of the Two Seas". The building includes about a thousand seats. The main facade of the Theater was graced, between 1991-92, with mosaic works depicting scenes from the greek theater. Throughout the year, the Theater hosts several events, including: the "Euro Mediterranean Festival", the "School Theater Festival", the "Festival of Dance", the "Altomonte Rock Festival" and other initiatives.
