Ex Convento di San Girolamo
Located on the south-east of Poggio Hill, it occupies a wide area, which includes the former Convent building, with a rectangular plant with two courtyards, and the old orchard. The Monastery was built around the first half of the fifteenth century. Convent and the Church will be rebuilt in the second half of the eighteenth century by architect Giuseppe Tosi. The Fathers Gerolamini will remain there until the second half of the nineteenth century, when, as a result of the Unification of Italy, will be requirement by the State. In the early twenty-first century, after moving to the University, the former Convent became home to some departments related to conservation and restoration.
