Dedicated to the poet Torquato Tasso, was inaugurated in 1939 in the premises of the Convent of S. Onofrio on the Janiculum, run the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. In this building, the poet died April 25, 1595: His tomb is in the chapel of the church.
We have kept some of his memorabilia as the urn that for many years he kept the ashes, a handwritten letter and some personal items including a crucifix and an ancient pottery. Inside Toilets are also exposed ancient editions of La Gerusalemme Liberata and other works.
