The old building this breadth Henry VII, known as House Beauty - but as it actually belonged to the overlying modern building in the 30s of the twentieth century to the master Vincenzo Beauty - was highlighted and partially excavated in the course of a restructuring of the 'building in the '50s; subsequent actions of the Superintendent have taken steps to consolidations static and restoration of paintings. Recent work by F.Boldrighini allowed to re-examine the data for the overall development and architectural floor plan of the building between the Republican era and the imperial age.

Of the wealthy Roman house, located partly in the modern building, partly in its garden and a small part under the road (about 10 meters deep), we retain a portion of the basement and the traces of some areas of the floor higher. The remains consist of two currently frescoed rooms that open onto a cryptoporticus; third environment, certainly also painted, is still underground and has not been dug for static problems of modern building above.

The cryptoporticus, of which only the main arm, is covered by a barrel vault, has walls plastered in white (but the stage was decorated with original paintings) and was lit by large openings in wolf's mouth, walled up in the course of modern restorations. The rooms that open onto cryptoporticus, rectangular in shape and time with segmental arches are painted in fresco (on the bottom of white and dark yellow, respectively) and are paved with colored stones on the bottom of earthenware; The central room features along the northern side along a row of four Ionic columns covered with stucco, which had to pay a similar row along the opposite side.

In the upper floor have been documented three walls of the room perfectly overlaid on the lower south. From this level also come some architectural elements, including fragments of columns of granite, which allow us to hypothesize the existence of a colonnaded portico at the cryptoporticus below.
