Stadio Flaminio
Flaminio Stadium is a sporting center. Designed by architect Antonio Nervi, it was built between 1957 and 1958 and saw its inauguration in 1959. The Flaminio was intended to host World Olympic Football Tournament in 1960. According to capacity, is the second Stadium in the Capital and, since the year seventy, was used by the Italian National of Rugby and Rugby Roma. The structure is made of exposed concrete, and provides coverage only in the central area of the main grandstand, made through a partially prefabricated shelter. The support elements are inclined pillars which rest on the external structure of the Stadium. With the admission of Italy in the "Five Nations" tournament rugby, renamed for this "Six Nations", the Italian Rugby Federation has chosen the Flaminio Stadium as system home for internal meetings.
