Located in the former convent of San Francesco along with Dante Museum, the collection is open to the public for the first time in 1990 after major restoration of the Franciscan cloisters, presents a selection of over 500 bronzes and more than 2,000 medals and coins between representatives Dante or themes of Dante; an area is devoted to illustrations of Dante and includes illustrated editions, graphic collections without text, paintings in oil and tempera. Of particular importance the biggest issue and the smallest of the Divine Comedy and the microcalligrafica of Cossovel G. (1888). The second cloister, called the "Bank", is venue of the International Biennial of Medal of small sculpture of Dante and art exhibitions dedicated to the poet Dante prepared by the Centre. In the great hall between the two cloisters on the first floor of the complex of Minors, the seat of the Centre's library, which was founded in 1964 by Father Severino Boys, holds about eleven thousand volumes, including manuscripts, incunabula, sixteenth, and translations of Dante.
