Museo di Storia dell'Agricoltura e della Pastorizia

The Museum of the History of Agriculture and Farming is headquartered inside Salmena palace. Born in the mid-eighties by expansion of the historical exhibition "Peasants and pastors in Morano between past and present" and is divided into nine sections didactic exhibition with material finds, written sources, maps of the area and period photographs. In the basement, three sections: agricultural work, the rural housing and the interior of the farmhouse, with the exposure of a large plow and objects related to farm work; on the first floor, the conference room integrates with section area, the study room and those dedicated to costumes, to water and its use in the mills, to sheep textile industries and raising silkworms.
