The project Museum of Cultures originated in the 1990s when the city of Milan acquired former industrial area of Ansaldo to direct it to cultural activities. Abandoned factories, real monuments of industrial architecture, have been turned into workshops, studios and new creative spaces. The visitor of Museum will visit major international exhibitions declined through different artistic languages, know ethno-anthropological collections of the City of Milan made up of more than 7,000 works of art, everyday objects, textiles and musical instruments from all continents, participate in a program of events and initiatives by international community in the area.
