Milan office of Prada Foundation has been designed by OMA architectural firm, led by Rem Koolhaas, with the intent to expand spatial possibilities to present and share art with the public. Articulated in architectural combination of existing buildings and new construction (Podium, Cinema and Tower), current home is result of upgrading a distillery of the early twentieth century. OMA project combines conservation and innovation. The entire complex is spread over an area of 19.000 square meters. Tower, nearing completion, will be open to the public at a later stage.
