In the historic center of Milan, in the striking of the eighteenth and nineteenth century buildings Anguissola Antona Traversi and Brentani, in November 2011 it was opened to the public on new museum galleries in Italy, dedicated to the art of the nineteenth century, with about 200 works from by Cariplo (135 pieces) and the collection of Intesa Sanpaolo (62 pieces). An exhibition, curated by Fernando Mazzocca, divided into thirteen sections through an entire century of Italian art; bas-reliefs by Antonio Canova at the end of the eighteenth century to the masterpieces of pre-Futurist Umberto Boccioni, flanked by as many important masters of our country such as Francesco Hayez, Gerolamo Induno Angelo Warlock, Zandomeneghi Federico, Giovanni Boldini, Signorini, Giovanni Segantini, Angelo Morbelli, Gaetano Previati Giulio Aristide Sartorio.
