Palazzo Morando - Costume, moda e immagine

Where Via Sant'Andrea, 6, Milano

The seventeenth-century Morando Palazzo is home to two exhibition routes. The Art Gallery, on the first floor, was founded in 1934 and offers a collection of paintings, sculptures and prints from the "Luigi Beretta" collection, showing the evolution of urban and social Milan between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries. On the way it can also admire the rooms of the noble house, with furniture, decorations and original objects. Since 2010, the new Museum has allowed to exploit all the historical and artistic heritage of the city of Milan, including the Historical Collections of textiles, collections of clothes, accessories and uniforms stored earlier in the Sforzesco Castle.
