Located in a former textile mill, in the late nineteenth century, suitable for display, the museum illustrates the figurative art of Messina from the twelfth century to the eighteenth. The collections of paintings and sculptures, art objects and decorative artifacts are ordered chronologically and include works by prestigious as Antonello, Caravaggio, Laurana.
