Palace of the Post Office, built in 1914 by architect Vittorio Mariani. It has a large semi-circular porch with classic lines. Set on high plinths limestone ashlar, the facades are simple: the main ones is marked by high pilasters and mullioned windows with balustrade. Large interior backyard is inspired by the cloister of nearby St. Dominic's Convent (collapsed in the earthquake of 1908). In curved loggia, Art Nouveau style, you notice stucco reliefs with cherubs and allegories on the theme of postal communications.
