The Cambria Zoological Museum, pertaining to the Department of Animal Biology and Marine Ecology of the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences of the University of Messina, is situated in the premises of the department in the university district of Sperone, in the north of the city. Of natural interest, it can admire the rich collections of vertebrates, insects and mollusks, with particular reference to the fauna of the Strait of Messina.
