The constitution was approved in 1912 and designed by Marcello Piacentini, who later reformulated the architectural from neo-Renaissance to neo-Classical Germans models, adopting Doric order inspired by the Brandenburg Gate and Sicilian temples. The work was completed in 1927. Reinforced stands great chariot of the goddess Minerva, made by Ercole Drei in bronze and aluminum.
