Also known as "Badiazza", it is a Medieval monument that stands as a rare example of fortress-church from the Norman period. It is located in a isolated place, on the upper valley of the Ritiro rivere, in Peloritani Mountains. Convent of Benedictine nuns was abandoned in 1347. The Church, once rich in marble and mosaics, it has been restored to its original beauty.
