Located in Palazzo Reale square, the building features a sophisticated allegorical group representing the bow of a ship, alongside two winged wheels, while sailing through the waves of Scilla and Cariddi, symbolizing Messina's commercial vocation. On the three entry arches, Mercury's winged heads, trade protectors. Its construction, by architect G. Lo Cascio, dates back to 1914.
