Where Firmo (Cosenza)

Center of the ethnic Albanian communities of Calabria, which maintains language, religious rite, culture, customs and ancestral customs. On the occasion of the Feast of St. Joseph it is customary, on the eve of the eve, to erect huge stacks of charms in every ward and lighting up the bell of the main church bell. On the first Sunday of May, however, Sant'Atanasio, patron of the country, is celebrating. There are demonstrations of Albanian folklore with the participation of groups from other Albanian centers of Italy and Albania, in traditional costume.
