Castel Morrone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of Naples and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,007 and an area of 25.4 square kilometres (9.8 sq mi).
The municipality of Castel Morrone contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Annunziata, Balzi, Casale, Gradillo, Grottole, Largisi, Pianelli, and S.Andrea e Torone.
Castel Morrone borders the following municipalities: Caiazzo, Capua, Caserta, Limatola, Piana di Monte Verna.
