Simi Palace, now Operations Centre for Archaeology of Bari, a Renaissance palatiata house, seals a dense and tight archaeological stratification in vertical and horizontal. At the high-Medieval and Roman times refer the wall layers visible in the basement of the building, built on the remains of Imperial period (first century). Elegant rooms of the ground floor and upper floors are the result of the expansion and transformation of original Medieval center in historic house, built between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
