Restoration of famous frescoes by Piero della Francesca in Bacci Chapel, in St. Francis's Church, allowing access to small groups of visitors. Gothic Basilica, rich in fresco painting of fourteenth century, has exceptional series dedicated to "Legend of the Cross" by Piero della Francesca (1453-64). Worthy of note, the windows by Marcillat, paintings and frescoes by Spinello and other valuable works.
