Museo di Casa Vasari

Museum was opened to the public after a lengthy restoration. The tour allows you to discover one of the few surviving examples of an artist house of late Renaissance, arranged on three floors and equipped with roof garden. On the main floor is the apartment with Chamber of Fame and Arts, House of Muses, House of Abraham and Fireplace Room decorated with frescoes and tempera by Vasari and some of his students with allegorical and celebratory subjects. In the rooms they are also accommodated fifty century paintings of medium and small size, from the deposits of Florentine galleries, documenting the work of several artists who trained in Vasari school.
