Speed, Control, Adrenaline……
A story that runs on four wheels for more than twenty years, from Formula 1 tracks to Varano de’ Melegari Circuit. From races to the safe and perfect control of the car. Founded in 1991 by the former Formula 1 driver and racing fan Andrea de Adamich, the Centro Internazionale Guida Sicura works with road safety and training. The historical partnership with Alfa Romeo combines the highest standards of professionalism, safety and adrenaline. The driving course organized by the Centro Guida achieves its goal: the improvement of the ability to control the vehicle for everyday driving, simulating all the critical situations of “Negative Driving" (ie control of the car in case of emergency, with exercises in designated areas with surfaces with poor grip and artificial rain) and practicing in the "Positive Driving" (learning through driving in the track how to prevent critical situations, adopting a smooth, proper and safe driving). It‘s an exciting experience: a training and dynamic route, full and rewarding. That leaves its mark. It‘s a training offer that requires professionalism, expertise and adequate and dedicated facilities, with programs and Driver-Instructors certified. Since 1991 the Centro has developed its Courses’ program, with more and more advanced exercises, advanced technology and customized in requests. Not only educational know-how, but also a real racetrack available, with the most advanced fixed and mobile technologies for learning. Depending on the immediate success of the activity with Alfa Romeo, in 1993 Ferrari delegated the Centro Guida to the technical management of its sports driving courses (Pilota Ferrari) for customers, as well as test drives, product presentations, sales network training at an international level. Since 1998, the Centro Guida is also organizing on behalf of Maserati both test drive and driving courses (Master Maserati), focused on customers but also dedicated to prospects. In 2011, Abarth too became one of the brands that belongs to the Centro Guida dynamical activities dedicated to customers, through the project Abarth Driving Academy, which has also its home in the Varano dé Melegari racetrack. 180 training days, 4,000 participants each year, a racetrack for exclusive use and a team with the best Driver-Instructors make the Centro Guida a leading structure in Europe.
