Mausoleo di Cesare Battisti

Cesare Battisti's Mausoleum is located on the hill called Doss Trento. It was built by architect Ettore Fagiuoli in 1935, during Fascist era. It rests on a circular base on which there is a porch consisting of sixteen clear stone columns, enclosing a symbolic altar in porphyry containing the words "July 12, 1916" and "Cesare Battisti". Inside circular structure, on the entablature, it is the epigraph by Giuseppe Gerola. The basement contains the crypt where they collected the remains of the martyr and a bust of white marble built by Eraldo Fozzer.
