Palazzo delle Albere
Albere Palace is a villa-fortress of the XVI century built by Prince-Bishops Madruzzo. The building owes its name to double row of poplars cypresses, in the past, were lined up along the avenue leading from the town to the Villa. The building has a square plant with four square corner towers and is surrounded by a moat. On the first floor there was Great Hall, but little or nothing remains of paintings narrating the life and business of Charles V. It should be noted, however, the paintings depicting twelve months. The second floor houses some Renaissance frescoes depicting imaginary landscapes with ruins and castles. Other paintings in the Palace represent seven Liberal Arts.
