Torrione Madruzziano (El Torion o Rotonda)

Tower was built in the sixteenth century by order of Ludovico Madruzzo. It was equipped with a guard who was watching on entry south of the city (Porta Santa Croce), now demolished. Tower is located on the western side of Fiera Square. From the nineteenth century it was destine to commercial building and then to homes. Today the ground floor is in a state of neglect. Tower is covered by a high conical spire.
