Complesso delle Lucrezie e Lapidarium

The Lapidary Museum of Todi is located within the Lucretia Complex, whose Lapidary is the first section. The Complex originated in the first half of the fifteenth century, when the noblewoman Lucrezia della Genga bequeathed to her sisters a building located next to the walls of the city of Todi. After the First World War, the Complex was used for other activities, until 1987, when it underwent restoration. The Lapidary materials preserves old Aancient, Medieval and Modern, municipal property, discovered over the centuries in the city and its territory. The Museum includes several sections that follow the chronological order of the pieces from the Roman era, until the nineteenth century.
