The "Metato" (said "casella") is an old building for the processing of chestnuts. It has recently been restored maintaining the original features: the wooden ceiling, the plaster stones and loggia. Around the building covers the Medieval Garden, placed in the four typical sections of the period: Aromatarum, Pomarium, Horto Sanitatis and Hortus Holerorum. Also, along the Path of Lost Fruits, you can rediscover the ancient plants and their forgotten colors, scents and tastes.
