Marina Grande is the beach of Scilla, overlooking the Strait of Messina, extends in a sort of enclosed cove to the north by the Ruffo Castle and east by Arcipretaleche Church of SS. Immaculate Mary, reaching out to the city center. The kilometer between the two rocks represents the Seafront "Cristoforo Colombo", a beach of fine gravel.
