Pinacoteca Civica (Palazzo Gavotti)
Gavotti Palace is in historic center of Savona and is home of Civic Art Gallery. Palace was built in the seventeenth century on pre-existing Medieval structures. The name comes from Gavotti family, who owned it until 1772. The exhibition of Art Gallery is on two levels and includes, in addition to civic collections also the works owned by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Savona (sculptures and ceramics from the XIX century) and Museum of Contemporary Art Milena Milani in memory of Carlo Cardazzo. One room is dedicated to Liguria paintings, one of the authors exposed is Michele Cascella.
