San Michele al Tagliamento
San Michele al Tagliamento is the municipality located to the east of the province of Venice. Vast municipal territory can be divided into three different parts, with unmistakable characteristics: the southern area, near Bibione, is characterized by a thick maritime pine forest; the central area, where the capital is located, is almost completely flat and cultivated; the northern area is characterized by numerous woods and landscaped elements, bordered by Tagliamento river. Bibione represents the tourist area, twelve times "Blue Flag", the first city in the world to have set up on the beach a ski slope open to the public between July and August.
