Chiesa di San Vincenzo Ferreri
Located at the entrance of Iblei Gardens, Church is deconsecrated in 2010 and used as Auditorium. The foundation dates back to 1509 with Convent of the Dominican Friars (no longer exists). Church and Convent suffered serious transformations in the twentieth century. In 2004 it was started the restoration of the building. The facade is simple, rectangular in shape with blocks of limestone bounded on both sides by Corinthian pilasters topped by a cornice with balustrade. The facade is further enhanced by the presence of a large sundial. The portal is decorated with two Corinthian columns supporting a broken pediment, over which opens a window with small frame. Important element is the bell tower, characterized by a belfry with four lights and a spire in colored tiles. The interior has a single nave ending with a semicircular apse, it preserves one of the side altars of a fresco depicting a cityscape.
