The Museum was created under the project "Old Calabria", based on the book by British author Norman Douglas, sponsored by the Foundation Napoli 99. The Museum, which winds through the streets around the old town, tells, through ten murals, work, uses, customs and economy of hard-working people of Castelsilano. The realization was made possible by the artist Francesco Candido, born in Castelsilano but living for some years in Paris.
