The Castle of the Emperor is the most significant testimony of Frederick architecture in central and northern Italy. An opening on the eastern side connected to the defensive walls of the castle door Fiorentina through the Keep, long trench fortified on two levels, recently restored and which offers a wide view towards Florence and the Montalbano.
