Museo Archeologico Regionale “Antonino Salinas”

The Museum is located in the architectural complex of the congregation of the Philippine Fathers all'Olivella, dating from the seventeenth century. Its heritage illustrates the different phases of art and civilization of western Sicily, from Prehistory to the Middle Ages. The Museum welcomes prestigious examples of eighteenth and nineteenth-century collectors, also sourced not Sicilian, as the Etruscan Collection Casuccini, artefacts found during excavations on the island, thanks to the tireless work of Antonino Salinas (1841-1914) which is dedicated the Institute.
