Museo del Costume 'Raffaello Piraino'

The Museum exhibits a collection of over three thousand items, ranging from clothing to accessories, the core of which is the collection of Raffaele Piraino, painter and professor of History of Costume. On display are examples of ecclesiastical clothing for children, military and gala, there are also traditional costumes of the Mediterranean countries and kits for the wedding. The collection includes material dating between the eighteenth and the first half of the twentieth century, mainly from Sicily.
