It was built in the second half of the nineteenth century and designed by Francesco Cassone and Francesco Sortino. The building, in Neoclassical style, presents reliefs with musical motifs and theatrical masks, carvings in sandstone representing allegory of Music and two musical trophies by sculptor Giuliano Palazzolo. The interior was decorated by painters Di Stefano and Stubba. In 2012 Theater was named after the actress Tina Di Lorenzo. It has a capacity of 320 seats, including three rows of boxes and a gallery.
