Built on the occasion of the coming of King Ferdinand II of Bourbon, it is symbol of entry into the city. It is work by Neapolitan Angelini, who also designed the Statue of Ferdinand then became war memorial. It was completed in one year, 1838, with Neoclassical style maintaining the period.
